Which Raiden is best?
The bloke with the funny hat from Mortal Kombat, the fat chap from Fatal Fury or the girly man from Metal Gear Solid 2?
And are there any other Raidens to consider? |
Only one was played by Lambert.
gg. |
wasn't there a shoot 'em up also named raiden?
|
I think it speaks volumes that one of the least interesting members of the MK roster still manages to get my vote.
FF Raiden was mediocre, until he appeared in CvS2, whereupon he immediately upgraded to 'fucking awful.' |
Raiden from MGS2 >:| rargh!
Ass kicking soldier, and got to lay the pipe with Rose. |
Poor FF Raiden... had he stayed as Big Bear, he might have actually sucked a fraction less....
|
Raiden from Virtual On.
|
I agree with Lambert.

A year ago I would have said FF Raiden, but now I say red-eyed, super-pissed, vengeful Raiden from MK:D.
|
I prefer the hastily ret-conned world-destroying fucker Raiden from the first MK game, personally.

I am with Neil on this MK Raiden, he flies and that sound he makes when he does it is unforgetable.

The Esper from FF6. He had Quick and a horse. As fashionable as MK Raiden's hat is, he just can't compare. Plus, when you think about it, that Superman move was really just a fancy way of shoving your opponent. That's not especially lethal, and neither is his little static discharge attack.
MGS2 Raiden loses because he demeaned himself and his craft by doing a nude scene just to get work. Like that lady from the Resident Evil movie. |
The Raiden Project was pretty good shooter on the PSX. I am not sure if it was the ship or the enemy that was called Raiden though.

MK Conquest Raiden = Comedy gold
|
Ah, how I miss MK Conquest Raiden, though I'd rate Lambert just an inch above him. There can be only one, after all...
... Very, very bad pun. My deepest apologies. >_< Preferred MK I Raiden's story the most. Raiden wins, gods fight, world ends. Have a nice day! |
Obviously it's Mrs. Raiden from All Mine To Give.
