Punchinello : Strider won because he’s a Ninja from the future. The future has all kinds of crazy things like robots, space rockets and food pills. On the other hand, Hattori Hanzo could just eat a turkey in the middle of a fight back in the day. I don’t know where I’m going with this.
ObiJay: I expected this one to be a lot closer then this. Hanzo was essentially stomped under the metal heels of Hiryu’s robot pets. Despite my overall disdain for MvsC and MvsC2, I still have fun using Strider, bouncing people up in the air and just doing a six hit slashing air rave. It’s just undeniably cool.

ObiJay: The MK Curse continues. Then again, aside from the Dragon Fatality in MKII, and the initial novelty of the bicycle kick, Liu Kang doesn’t have much going for him. Then again, Ryo is just a bleach job Ryu in a Dragon Ball Z outfit.

Punchinello : Ugh. You know, I was really hoping Sonya would’ve won this one just so that Mortal Kombat would’ve gotten at least ONE win.
ObiJay: Dammit, I was praying BBH would lose just so that obsessive freak on the boards would shut up. Ah well, she’ll get curbstomped next round.

ObiJay: There is something undeniably cool about Yashiro, in either his strike happy normal incarnation, or his uber l337/cheesy Orochi grappler rendition. The only flaw is my girlfriend has a choker like his :S
