Kintaro (Mortal Kombat 2): 44 (38%)

ObiJay: The ass scratching, cannon balling through Hadoken crouching fierce of death monster pulls out a win. Again the Mortal Kombat Kurse rears its head. Granted, Kintaro didn’t have much going for him save cool tiger stripes and four arms. Plus Shang Tsung morphing into him for the one punch fatality was kinda neat. Tough luck for Goro’s successor
Neil: It’s too bad, really. I mean, Kintaro would never be found with large amounts of fruit stuffed down his shorts. I’m not bitter
redranger : Clearly, the “BLANKA ONLY NEEDS ONE BUTTON TO WIN” Joke Well will not be dried up for some time.
Punchinello : I’d just like to tell everyone the Servbots are safe and sound, thank god. The Park Ranger found them huddled in a hornets’ nest.

ObiJay: Nothing like a good mysterious robot. Sure Fulgore had lasers, machine guns, and cool glowy claws, but the silent, clumsy child chasing bot comes out on top of this one. I think this says a lot about the HerVerTs

ObiJay: A good bit closer then the previous matches of the week. I’m somewhat disappointed that the Kazama Fury wasn’t enough for…whatever the fuck Jotaro does.
Neil: It’s incredible to think that there are more Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fans voting than Tekken ones.
redranger : I think there’s enough shounen-ai in this round to make any neko yume for weeks. Ke.
Punchinello : Sorry, but Jin Kazama should’ve run away with this win, I’ve always felt Namco hit a homerun with Jin’s design, ever since Tekken 3. Now if only I could play Tekken worth a shit…

ObiJay: I’m a bit surprised, but pleasantly. Something about Jedah makes him an awesome boss. He’s not overpowered, but just effective, and anyone that can turn their own wings into a scythe is top tier. Plus his supers are just so slick and funny all at once. Sure, Orochi can just flat out rape you, but as a few on the boards said, the Orochi build up can’t be beat, but Orochi himself is kinda, bleh.
Neil: I wonder, does Jedah have any problems fighting in his stage when it’s ‘that time of the month’?

ObiJay: Holy fucking blowout batman. Methinks the hentai factor plus one of the hottest cosplays EVER may have influenced this one just a hair.
Neil: Angel is just unfness condensed into sprite form, and I’ve always appreciated the fact she’s not a token ditz, or tough grrl, but something new and exciting. Say what you will about EOLITH, but they score major points with me for creating her.

ObiJay: The lord of Castle Stroheim comes out on top of this battle. His presence in the Fatal Fury 2 anime has left a mark on many people, with his cool nature, imposing stature, and powerful techniques. Game wise, he carries nearly all of those traits, although his voice isn’t quite as imposing, and well, that goddamn moustache. Still, Hugo will have to get up by himself.

Neil: Poor Scorpion, who did so well over at GameFAQs, falls at the first fence, to an admittedly tough opponent. We’re surprised there wasn’t more of a mall-scrub/Kaillera fag backlash against the demon one
Punchinello : Bugger! Scorpion is damn cool, and actually has made interesting progression within his storyline. GOOKY.
ObiJay: The goddamn Penguin animality has left a bad taste in all our mouths. So old Scorp has been Shun Goku Satsu’ed back to hell. Poor guy really just can’t win.
