Review: Rise of the Robots 2: Resurrection

As soon as you turn on your Sony Playstation and you go through all the boring introduction and logos, you find something worse beneath it all… the game itself.

Never in my life have I seen a video game with such choppy, undetailed, and at times scarry animation - well except for Rise of the Robots. The characters design is right down terrible, did a 5 year old space ace draw these? The backgrounds are a pain in the neck, with some of the most unoriginal backgrounds ever. There is even a background where all you see is a wall. Big WOW! The projectile moves and such are pathetic and words can not describe this game. I am already running out of words to describe the graphics for this piece of junk.

As far as the music is concerned its right down awful! Im sick of it. Im sick of this game and everything it stands for. The music beats an unforgiven pace with some of the worse soundtracks ever seen in the history of video games. The game sounds a lot like an old 8-Bit Nintendo game - this is CD technology we are talking about. Sony how did you let this slip you by?

The gameplay along with the play control is pure crap. The game moves way too slow and with no option to speed the game up just a tiny bit. The controller does not respond like it should and all 300 special moves are worthless in the game. If you want to win just hit them buttons like there is no tomorrow and you will come out a winner.

No matter how desperate you are to play a fighting game, do not pick up a copy of this game. Do not rent it either. If you value your dollar or your pesos or whatever you use in you country just ignore it on the shelves. This game is pure mechanical crap.
